Book and Paper Conservator with professional training and work experience in Universities and Libraries. I graduated from a 5-year MA degree in Painting Conservation at the École Supérieure des Arts Saint-Luc of Liège in 2013, before completing a 2-year MA degree in Conservation of Books and Library Materials at West Dean College in the UK in 2015.
Starting work at the Chester Beatty Library in Dublin as the Heritage Council Intern in 2015-16, I deepened and developed my knowledge further. In January 2017 I joined the Cambridge University Library conservation team to work on Charles Darwin’s Library digitisation project. I then worked as Book and Paper Conservator in the University of Manchester from January to August 2018, before starting work as Book and Paper Conservator for the digitisation of Greek Manuscripts at the Cambridge University Library from February to October 2019.
My interests and passion involve early bookbindings and non-Western book structures, pigments in illuminated manuscripts and painted surfaces.
